Gala Ôtentik 2025: a celebration of our roots, our culture and our heritage

On May 30, 2025, Montreal was adorned in its finest Afro colours to host the second edition of our Ôtentik Gala , an event to celebrate the beauty, resilience and excellence of our community.

After a first gala marking our first anniversary in 2024, this new edition confirmed one thing: Ôtentik is much more than a brand. It's a movement.

Celebrating who we truly are

Under the theme Extravaganza, the Rialto Theatre vibrated to the rhythm of drums, powerful voices, and authentic hairstyles. More than a hundred people, from all over Canada, gathered to share an evening of emotion, pride, and recognition .

Ôtentik is the art of loving one's hair, of transmitting a culture, and of building a future where every woman can proudly say: "I am beautiful, with my real hair." 

Presences that leave a mark

We were also privileged to welcome committed public figures who came to express their support for our mission. Their kind and inspiring presence added an even greater dimension to this celebratory evening. It is an honor to see such influential voices join us in recognizing the importance of African heritage and women's leadership.

Recognizing those who build

One of the most moving moments was the awards ceremony for our consultants. Ten women were honored for their remarkable results and dedication. The Top Salesperson was recognized for her rigor and support. The second-best recruiter , whose passion and contagious enthusiasm inspired many women to join the movement, was also recognized. And finally, our Queen Ôtentik 2025 , a symbol of transformation, was honored: she mentors, trains, educates… and embodies, in her own way, the vision of an entire community.

This is just the beginning!

At Ôtentik, every gala is a step, every event an opportunity to grow together.
On May 30, 2025, we experienced a moment of grace . And we leave with stars in our eyes, projects in our hearts… and only one desire: to continue to uplift our community.
