Always customize the routine based on the child’s hair requirements; certain modifications may be needed. If in doubt, remember that you have access to one of our consultants at any time.
For Ages 2 and Under
Co-wash 4-in-1 Cleanser and Strengthening Oil
For children aged 2 and under, a simple and gentle haircare routine with only two products is recommended: the 4-in-1 Co-Wash and the strengthening Oil. This routine is ideal during your baby’s bath.
Step 1: Co-wash 4-in-1 Cleanser
Ôtentik’s 4-in-1 Co-Wash is a rich blend that cleanses, detangles, softens, and hydrates the hair.
Usage:
- Start by wetting your baby’s hair.
- Take a small amount of the Co-Wash in your palms and distribute it evenly on the scalp and lengths.
- Detangle the hair strand by strand with your fingers and rinse thoroughly.
Step 2: Strengthening Oil
Ôtentik’s strengthening Oil is a powerful hair protector. It seals in moisture and helps strengthen the hair.
Usage:
- Apply a small amount of oil to wet hair that has been divided into sections (apply only to the hair shaft, not the scalp).
- If feasible, twist your hair and let it air-dry without the use of heat.
Tip: For more details, refer to the product label instructions.
If your baby’s hair is too dry, you can add the moisturizing cream to this routine (for application, refer to the routine for children between 2 and 7 years old).
For Ages 3 to 7
Co-wash 4-in-1 Cleanser, Moisturizing Cream, and Strengthening Oil
For children aged 3 to 7, a simple yet effective hair care routine involving three Ôtentik products is recommended: the 4-in-1 Co-Wash, the moisturizing cream, and the Strengthening Oil.
Step 1: Co-wash 4-in-1 Cleanser
Ôtentik’s 4-in-1 Co-Wash is a rich blend that cleanses, detangles, softens, and hydrates the hair.
Usage:
- Start by wetting your child’s hair.
- Take a small amount of the Co-Wash in your palms and distribute it evenly on the scalp and lengths.
- Detangle the hair strand by strand with your fingers and rinse thoroughly.
Step 2: Moisturizing Cream
Ôtentik’s moisturizing cream coats the hair fiber, helps repair dry ends, fights hair dryness, and helps strengthen the hair.
- Apply the required amount of cream to the hair, making repetitive movements along the hair shaft for better absorption.
- To seal in moisture, use a small amount of Ôtentik’s strengthening Oil (see next step).

For Ages 8 to 12
Strengthening Oil, Co-wash 4-in-1 Cleanser, Masks, and Moisturizing Cream
For children aged 8 to 12, we recommend the complete Revival Standard Line, including strengthening Oil, Co-Wash 4-in-1 Cleanser, Masks, and Moisturizing Cream.
Do not use the mask on your child’s hair more than once a month.
If you plan to do this routine more frequently, follow all the following steps except for the mask for the other occasions.
Step 1: Strengthening Oil
Ôtentik’s Strengthening Oil is a powerful hair protector. It seals in moisture and strengthens the hair.
Usage:
- Apply a small amount to wet hair that has been divided into sections.
- Gently massage the hair shaft. Leave it on for a few minutes, then rinse off the excess oil before moving on to the next step.
Step 2: Co-wash 4-in-1 Cleanser
Ôtentik’s Co-Wash 4-in-1 Cleanser is a rich blend that cleanses, detangles, softens, and hydrates the hair.
Usage:
- Start by wetting your child’s hair.
- Take a small amount of the Co-Wash in your palms and distribute it evenly on the scalp and lengths.
- Detangle the hair strand by strand with your fingers and rinse thoroughly.
Step 3: Ôtentik Mask
Depending on your hair’s needs, choose the mask that suits your haircare phase. Use them alternately.
Usage:
- Apply the mask to the scalp and hair shaft.
- Massage your scalp with our Ôtentik manual scalp massager for 5 minutes.
- Wrap the hair with transparent plastic wrap and keep it wrapped during 1 or 2 hours, for optimal absorption. Do not use a heated helmet at this age!
- Then rinse thoroughly.
Step 4: Moisturizing Cream
Ôtentik’s moisturizing cream coats the hair fiber, helps repair dry ends, fights hair dryness, and helps strengthen the hair.
Usage:
- Apply the required amount of cream to the hair, making repetitive movements along the hair shaft for better absorption.
- To seal in moisture, use a small amount of Ôtentik’s strengthening Oil again (
apply only to the hair shaft, not the scalp
). - If possible, twist your hair and let it air dry.

For Ages 13 and over
For teenagers aged 13 and up, the routine is the same as that for adults.
Do not use the heating cap for more than 30 minutes on your child’s hair.
